Dear Students and Parents,
Students -- believe it or not, a teacher's goal is to make your life easier, not harder. How so? You are certainly entitled to ask this question, because, on the surface, school simply seems to be an unending amount of homework and tests. Really, though, all of these tests and all of this work is equipping you to think at higher levels, to solve problems, and to approach life with rationality and knowledge. It is well known, in America, that the more education you have, the easier it will be to find a good job and live a good life. In this way, a teacher helps to make your life easier.
I have designed this website to make your actual school-life a bit easier, as well. Here, you'll find your assignments and due dates in case you accidentally lose that sheet of paper (!) You'll also get a glimpse of what we will be doing in class in the future. Parents -- you will find tips on how to help your children in each of their assignments and also helpful links, like to the Ohio Department of Education, for example.
