Dear Parents,
Hopefully, you have already heard of me through student reports and through the parent letter I sent home the second day I arrived at Waterford High School. Again, hopefully, what you have heard is good. I feel incredibly lucky that my student teaching placement was at this school. Though I did not personally attend the high school, I have numerous family members and friends who did attend Waterford and are still proud Wildcats. In a strange way, I feel like I belong here. Even the secretary knew my family!
I have created this page specifically for you, the parents. It is well known that parental involvement is beneficial to student success. Both tenth grade and twelfth grade are also crucial periods in your students' lives. For the first, you have the OGTs. For the second, students are making career and college decisions. Through this site, you will receive tips on how to help your children in their assignments, actually know what assignments they're working on, and have easy access to important websites like the Ohio Department of Education where you will find information on the OGTs.
